SOCAPA Los Angeles Camp

Occidental College's campus is where the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SOCAPA) is situated. The campers are much closer to the activity than you may think, considering how close the school is to Hollywood! They provide some of Los Angeles' top summer camps. With classes in acting, dance, photography, cinematography, and music, they are a creative hotbed. Due to the camp's close proximity to some of the most popular Hollywood movie locations, filmmakers and actors frequently stop by and interact with the campers.

Weekends are spent exploring the charming Eagle Rock neighborhood, where Occidental College is situated. Your child will also get to visit some of the most popular tourist attractions in Hollywood, such as the Santa Monica Boardwalk and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If you live close by, your child can attend the camp as a day student even though it contains dormitories for participants. Daytime operations take place between 9 am and 5 pm and frequently include a variety of tasks shooting, editing, and mixing.
