Tocaloma Summer Day Camp

One of the longest-running camps in the US is the Tocaloma Summer Day Camp, which has been in operation since 1945. The activities offered to campers range from archery to swimming instruction to arts and crafts to sports to performing arts.

Tocaloma Summer Day Camp offers a variety of programs, such as Explorers (for kindergarten), Rangers (for first grade), Trailblazers (for second grade), Pathfinders (for third through fifth grade), and Outpost (Grade 6-7). Youths in Grades 9 through 12 are welcome to enroll in the Counselor In Training camp, where they will develop their leadership, teamwork, and other counseling-related abilities. This private 66-acre complex, where the summer day camp is located, has a variety of playgrounds, a swimming pool, sports fields, and air conditioning. While enjoying contemporary luxuries, children develop a sense of the outdoors.

The broad program offered to campers includes everything from sports to arts and crafts to ridiculous relays and team-building exercises. There is a special event every day, including Snow Day, Mock Rock, Halloween in July, and more! Kindercampers and older campers receive daily swim instruction. Activities at camp are planned to help campers learn new skills and have a good time while being looked after and supervised by our amazing staff. Counselors are chosen for their goofy and wacky personalities, maturity, and compassionate hearts (18+ and have finished their first year of college!). They have received training in fostering connections, planning activities that are age-appropriate, and encouraging a growth mentality.
