Some Emojis can make an appearance on Car License Plates in Australia

Emojis became a legitimate means of identifying people in Australia in 2019, at least under certain conditions. Emojis are now allowed to be shown on license plates for vehicles. Like any vanity plate, getting an emoji came with an additional fee.

They also strictly regulated the emojis that were permitted to be used in case someone tried to send something with a questionable meaning through. Only five of the happy faces with more upbeat emotions were permitted.

It's also important to remember that the emoji isn't actually a part of the dish. Which means they wouldn't need to issue an APB for the sunglasses emoji if you had one and lead the cops on a high-speed chase. Instead, they would only call in the letter and number part.
