Sopoti Waterfall
Sopoti waterfall is 600 meters above sea level and close to the town of Strbec. Fluvio-glacial deposits cause water to cascade from the top summit of the Nemrçk mountain, creating a 20-meter-high waterfall and a sizable karstic spring. At a reasonable distance, one can hear the sound of the water. It produces a breathtakingly lovely scene. One of Permet's most popular tourist attractions is the waterfall.
This hike provides breathtaking views of Nëmërçkës Mountain's rugged southern face, as well as the natural landmark Cirku Akullnajor Nëmërçkës. This glacier is two kilometers long and 600 meters wide, resembling a huge armchair.
You can park at the Stmbec village in a lovely meadow before the village center and then take the dirt road westward as it climbs uphill. Take the tiny, house-lined stone road that leads to the village's center after arriving there. You will arrive at the trailhead after a few meters of elevation following the stone road. The trail is well-lit, gently ascends, and offers stunning views of Nmrka Mountain. From here, you can also see the gorge's waterfall, and the trail is clearly marked. It is safe to pass despite having some exposed sections.
