St Gjergj (George) Waterfall

St Gjergj waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Albania. It is this lovely waterfall that stands out for its breathtaking beauty, especially in the spring and summer with its vibrant colors. It has built up a gorgeous area around itself where you may unwind; there are even places for a picnic.

The waterfall is one of the tributaries of the Erzen River and receives its water from Mali me Gropa (Mountain with Holes). It meanders around the spiral funnels at larger and lesser heights that are visible to the visitor, reaching a height of roughly 100 feet (30 meters). Red predominates in the layers and colors of the surrounding rock structure. It is about an hour's drive from the city, making a day trip worthwhile. Because it is difficult to find restaurants nearby, bring food with you. A stunning spring of vibrant and abundant greenery surrounds the Shngjergj Waterfall, and it is connected by stratified rocks that flame enthrallingly in the sunlight.
