St. Martin's Island Beach

The most gorgeous coral island where you can see live corals is St. Martins. It's only 30 kilometers from Teknaf and may be reached by motoboat or tourist boat. This small coral Islan, located about 10 kilometers southwest of the mainland's southern edge, is a tropical cliché, with beaches lined by coconut palms and a plethora of marine life. Because the island is only 8 square kilometers during high tide, it is possible to walk around it in a single day.

The majority of the island's 5500 residents make a living from fishing, and between October and April, fishermen from surrounding areas bring their harvest to the island's temporary wholesale marke. Noise is almost unimaginable here. St. Martin’s also called as ‘’Coconut Island’’ or ‘’Narikel Jinjira’’ in Bengali language. Every day, thousands of tourists visit there to see the mind-blowing beauty of this natural place. If you're lucky, you might be able to spend a moonlit night on St. Martin's Island. If you are not there at that time, the splendor of the full moon in St. Martin Island cannot be expressed. Overall, St Martin’s is something Bangladesh can be proud of, a real treasure of the country with lots of enthusiasm.
