Taeyeon

One of the most well-known South Korean female artists now is Kim Taeyeon, better known by her stage name Taeyeon. The soulful vocalist has performed professionally for more than half of her life, making her one of K-most pop's most recognized voices both as a member of a legendary girl group and as a well-known solo artist.

Taeyeon trained at SM Entertainment's Starlight Academy while she was in middle school and before making her K-pop debut with the band Girl's Generation. The band has great success in the Asian music industry. Taeyeon as a result rose to fame! With the release of her extended play "I" in 2015, she made the decision to start a solo career. Her voice is beautiful, and because she sings from the heart, you can really feel what she’s singing. Along with singing, Taeyeon also records the soundtrack for a lot of K-drama and movie projects.
