Taiga Aisaka

The primary female lead in Toradora is Taiga Aisaka. She is referred to as the "Palmtop Tiger" due to her diminutive stature and her penchant for snapping at people violently. Taiga appears to be a younger child while being a teenager due to her extremely small height. Taiga has wide, dark amber eyes that she received from her father, along with long, curly, light brown hair that falls beyond her waist in waves.

When outside, Taiga Aisaka frequently sports the school uniform or long dresses. She can be seen wearing a pair of stockings underneath her long coats, which she wears on top of dresses. She has a very fashionable wardrobe and comes from a wealthy family; even her pajamas are stylish.

Taiga Aisaka reacts aggressively to others, with the exception of her only friend at the moment, Minori Kushieda, and her crush, Yusaku Kitamura, and is often irritated over little things, especially her undeveloped stature for a girl of her age. Taiga is quite clumsy, a quality that both she and others have noted. Despite her clumsiness, she is surprisingly athletic and muscular for her small.
