Tatiana Golovin
Tatiana Golovin is a former French professional tennis player of Russian origin. She was born in Moscow, Soviet Union, on January 25, 1988. Golovin spent six years at Nick Bollettieri's tennis camp in Bradenton, Florida. Her coaches during her career included former world number one Mats Wilander, as well as Brad Gilbert and Dean Goldfine.
Tatiana Golovin won the 2004 French Open mixed doubles championship with Richard Gasquet and advanced to the 2006 US Open singles quarterfinals. She also competed in four ITF Circuit events. She reached the 2006 US Open singles quarterfinals before losing to eventual champion Maria Sharapova. Her career-high singles ranking is world No. 12. She was forced to cease competing in tennis after being diagnosed with lower back inflammation in 2008.
