Tenoch

The menu of Tenoch is simple, sort of like Chipotle. It offers nice, simple basic Mexican food. The menu consists of Tortas, enchiladas and tacos, beans and rice. It also has the traditional Mexican pressed sandwich made with Telera (like a thick French roll). The sandwich’s meat or vegetarian base is generously topped with Oaxaca cheese, chipotle mayo, onions, avocado and tomatoes. Rest assured that the requisite tacos, quesadillas and burritos are all here too, along with Mexican sodas for the full authentic experience. The recent opening of a new branch in Davis Square (there’s also a Medford outlet and a food truck) caused heart palpitations among Somervillians happy to wait in half-hour lines for their dinner.

The place is nicely decorated. It is very small inside, easy to find. The waiters are nice. It opens for lunch and dinner and provides very quick service. It also has bottled beverages and no alcohol. It also provides quick to-go options, give it a try and will be worth your time
