The American School Foundation
The American School Foundation (ASF) is an excellent school in Mexico City. It has a long history, starting in 1888. ASF is the oldest American School outside of the United States that has continuous accreditation.
ASF offers different programs to meet the needs of its students. All students follow the requirements of the United States high school diploma. They can also choose additional courses from the International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP), and Mexican programs.
ASF is proud to be an IB World School. They have the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). The PYP helps young learners develop their skills and knowledge. The DP challenges older students with advanced coursework in different subjects. Participating in these programs gives students an international perspective and a well-rounded set of skills.
ASF is accredited by AdvancED through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) in the United States. This accreditation ensures that ASF provides a high-quality education.
ASF is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing excellent education to international and Mexican students.
