The Big Book

Debauve & Gallais released The Big Book to commemorate their 200th anniversary. These chocolates are packaged in a commemorative leather box in the shape of a book and inlaid with gold leaf. We tried not to order this list based on the value of the box, but it is a nostalgic nod to the Rue des Saints-Peres, the Parisian street where the Debauve & Gallais chocolate factory was built by architects Charles Percier and Pierre-Francois-Léonard Fontaine. It had to be extravagant.

This leather-bound big book of ganache and praline chocolates costs 239 €, or about $280.
