The British School of Amsterdam
The British School of Amsterdam is a world-class approved English National Curriculum provider for Amsterdam's foreign community. They are divided into three divisions, each with its own personality. Children aged 3 to 6 attend the Early Years School, children aged 6 to 11 attend the Junior School, and students aged 11 to 18 attend the Senior School.
They recently merged their three schools into a single remodeled, re-engineered edifice with some of the best educational amenities in the city, including a stunning sports hall, a full-sized theatre, fully equipped science laboratories, and specially built music rooms. Your child will be immersed in a culture of purposeful curiosity, which is essential for the development of a love of learning and independent thinkers. The school promotes each child to develop life skills and talents, as well as the joys and opportunities beyond the classroom in the arts, athletics, hobbies, teamwork, and leadership activities. Football, painting, ballet, street dance, knitting, social club, theater, dance, sculpture club, basketball, yoga, chess, and sewing are just a few of the activities available at the school.
