The cuisine of Luxembourg is highly influenced by both French and German culinary traditions. Potato pancakes (gromper keeschelche), plum tart (quetsche tort), and green bean soup with potatoes, bacon, and onion are also local specialties (Bouneschlupp).
Judd mat Gaardebounen, Luxembourg's national cuisine, is smoked pork collar steeped in water overnight and boiled with vegetables and spices. It's usually served with a side of potatoes and wide beans, as well as a bottle of Diekirch beer from Luxembourg.
