The Devil Is a Part-Timer!

"The Devil Is a Part-Timer!" begins in the demon world of Ente Isla, where Demon Lord Satan seeks to conquer and subjugate humanity. However, his plans are thwarted when Hero Emilia defeats him and forces him to retreat to modern-day Tokyo. In Tokyo, Satan takes on the name Sadao Maou and becomes powerless due to the lack of magic in the human world.

To survive and adapt to his new life, Sadao Maou gets a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant called MgRonald's. He quickly rises through the ranks due to his strong work ethic and ambition. His goal is to become the manager of the restaurant. Alongside him is his loyal demon general, Alciel (Shirou Ashiya), who also takes on a human identity and supports Sadao in his quest to regain power and return to the demon world.

As the series unfolds, Sadao Maou becomes entangled in the complexities of modern human life, including paying rent, grocery shopping, and navigating workplace dynamics. Meanwhile, various characters from the demon world follow him to Tokyo, leading to comical and often absurd situations. Sadao must also contend with Hero Emilia, who continues to monitor his activities, unaware of his true identity.

"The Devil Is a Part-Timer!" is primarily a comedy series. The humor arises from the contrast between the characters' otherworldly backgrounds and their mundane struggles in the human world. Despite the humor and slice-of-life elements, the series continues to involve supernatural conflicts and challenges as characters from the demon world and other magical beings enter the story.
