The Edgbaston

The Edgbaston is a boutique hotel in an Edwardian townhouse with three magnificent cocktail lounges that oozes sophistication and style. They are closed on Mondays, but open Tuesday through Sunday with Bar Service serving cocktails and a wide range of drinks from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesdays, 12 p.m. to Midnight on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sundays, and from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The bartenders are effortlessly knowledgable but pleasant, and the selection of signature and classic cocktails will have you wondering if you're in Birmingham or New York in the 1920s. Along with their fantastic cocktails, they have an informal bar menu with dishes designed for sampling and sharing, influenced by a wide range of European and British influences. Their award-winning Afternoon Tea is served in the cocktail lounges from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday and is a delicious decadent treat not to be missed.
