The Fallout

Taking the top position in the list of Best Teen Movies is The Fallout. The Fallout isn't your standard teen romantic comedy or even your standard teen drama. It is carefully filmed in a way that draws attention to how poignant it is. In addition, Jenna Ortego gives a wonderfully accessible portrayal despite the fact that The Fallout is centered around an inconceivable (but all too real) disaster.

High school girl Vada starts to reinvent herself while reassessing her connections and worldview, helped by new acquaintances made under unexpected and sad circumstances. She starts taking risks by departing from her cozy family routine and making a number of choices that push her in new directions and put her to the test. Vada and Mia become closer as their time together increases, and through their shared experiences, Vada gradually redefines herself.
