The Galae restaurant is situated on the crest of a hill in Chiang Mai's western outskirts. Simply follow Suthep Road past Chiang Mai University and into the hills until you reach the finish. This is an open-air dining establishment set in a gorgeous floral garden. Following your breakfast, take advantage of the opportunity to go to the opposite side of the lake for some truly breathtaking views of Chiang Mai. This restaurant elevates outdoor eating to new heights.

Galae specializes in Thai and Northern Thai cuisine. Their extensive menu is only available in Thai, but, like many other eating establishments, the offered meals are accompanied by photographs, making ordering simple. Because of the more exotic settings, the prices are shockingly low. This also applies to beverages. Because of its popularity among Thai residents, the restaurant may get rather full, and service can be delayed at times. However, the meal is amazing. This is a lovely spot for a leisurely meal followed by a stroll through the lovely garden.
