The Imperial Doctress

Another tale about the challenging life of a strong woman who triumphs against all odds. The Imperial Doctress is set during the Ming Dynasty and follows the irrepressible Tan Yun Xian, who hails from a family of palace physicians. However, at the time, female practitioners were frequently accused of wrongdoing. Tan Yun Xian, on the other hand, is devoted to medicine, even if she has little choice but to keep it a secret. When she meets the emperor, her life becomes even more convoluted (and intriguing).
