The K2

Ji Chang-wook and Im Yoon-ah appear in the 2016 South Korean television series The K2. From September 23 through November 12, 2016, it aired every Friday and Saturday at 20:00 (KST) on tvN for 16 episodes.

In The K2, Kim Je Ha is a mercenary soldier who is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. Je Ha, also known as K2, pursues vengeance with the assistance of the merciless Choi Yoo Jin, the owner of JSS Security Company and the wife of a presidential contender. In the meantime, Je Ha takes on the role of bodyguard for the presidential candidate's reclusive and illegitimate daughter, Go An Na. Soon, he'll have to choose between his devotion to the ruthless Yoo Jin and his increasing feelings for her stepdaughter, An Na.

The script was written by Jang Hyuk-rin, who also penned Yong-pal (2015), and directed by Kwak Jung-hwan of Neighborhood Hero (2016). With a bodyguard action theme, the program used numerous combat methods for its action sequences, including systema, taekwondo, aikido, and jujutsu. The Bullet Time effect was originally used in a Korean television drama. The first script reading took place in August 2016 at Seoul's CJ E&M Center. Filming started in September.
