From July 29 to September 23, 2020, it broadcast on tvN every Wednesday and Thursday, and it was also available globally on Netflix, iQIYI, Viki, and ViuTV with multi-language subtitles. Lee and Moon had previously been on Criminal Minds, and this was Lee's first broadcast appearance in two years.

    In The K2, Kim Je Ha is a mercenary soldier who is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. Je Ha, also known as K2, pursues vengeance with the assistance of the merciless Choi Yoo Jin, the owner of JSS Security Company and the wife of a presidential contender. In the meantime, Je Ha takes on the role of bodyguard for the presidential candidate's reclusive and illegitimate daughter, Go An Na. Soon, he'll have to choose between his devotion to the ruthless Yoo Jin and his increasing feelings for her stepdaughter, An Na.


    The script was written by Jang Hyuk-rin, who also penned Yong-pal (2015), and directed by Kwak Jung-hwan of Neighborhood Hero (2016). The Bullet Time effect was originally used in a Korean television drama. The first script reading took place in August 2016 at Seoul's CJ E&M Center. Filming started in September.

It aired on OCN for 16 episodes from August 5 to September 24, 2017 as the first television series from producer Lee Jae-firm moon's Hidden Sequence. This drama series is based on Jo Geum-popular san's Daum webcomic Out of the World. Save Me aired in 2017 and was packed with suspense and mystery. This drama is around four young guys who come to the aid of a former classmate whose family has been enslaved by a religious cult and its charismatic leader. This drama is also known as "Rescue Me." Kim sung-su is in charge of the direction.


    Just like past dramas on the OCN channel, Save Me felt more like a movie than your regular Korean drama because of the cinematography and widescreen format. The blue and greyish colour palette and the moody rock music that were part of the soundtrack set a gloomy tone for the series from the get-go.
