The Lord of The Rings

The book was originally supposed to be part of a two-volume series, but the publisher decided that this was a bad idea and instead decided to release three volumes over one year. The trilogy consists of three books: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.

The Lord of the Rings is the story of Frodo and the Fellowship of the Ring, which includes Gandalf the Wizard, the hobbits Merry, Pippin, and Sam, Gimli the Dwarf, Legolas the Elf, Boromir of Gondor, and a tall, mysterious stranger named Strider. This new version includes J.R.R. Tolkien's original artwork, which he made while writing the original text.

They've all been adapted into award-winning films, and the books were selected Britain's best novel of all time in 2003 by the BBC's The Big Read. The Lord of the Rings has sold over 150 million copies worldwide.
