The Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone is a popular culture monthly magazine published in the United States. Jann Wenner and music critic Ralph J. Gleason launched it in 1967 in San Francisco, California. It was first recognized for its rock music coverage and Hunter S. Thompson's political reporting. The journal expanded its focus to a younger readership interested in youth-oriented television series, film actors, and popular music in the 1990s. It has since returned to its original content mix, which includes music, entertainment, and politics.
