Business travelers that enjoy style are catered to at this hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Recent visitors claim that the abundance of conference space, free Wi-Fi, and spacious guest rooms contribute to productive days. Meanwhile, The Standard's upscale 24/7 Restaurant, on-site Biergarten, and The Rooftop lounge encourage rowdier nights. There is a pool on the hotel roof as well as spectacular city views. Some visitors, however, weren't fans of the modern ambiance at The Standard, complaining that the decor was more gorgeous than it was practical and that late-night noise from the hotel's open 24 hours a day venues made it difficult to get a decent night's sleep.
