Established in 1960, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, one of the best universities in Trinidad And Tobago, is officially recognized by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago. The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine (UWI) is a large (enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Trinidadian and Tobagonian higher education institution. The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine (UWI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
