Threes!

Sirvo, an independent development company comprised of game designer Asher Vollmer, illustrator Greg Wohlwend, and composer Jimmy Hinson, created Threes, a puzzle video game. The game was first published for iOS devices on February 6, 2014, and was then ported to Android, Xbox One, and Windows Phone.

Threes' simplicity demonstrates that the best iOS games don't have to be complex or have great graphics. Threes is a math-based game in which you slide numbered tiles against the wall to form like pairs in multiples of three up to 24. Use the wall to make a 6 by combining two 3 cards, a 12 by combining two 6 cards, and so on. "You can learn it in a minute," the developers claim, but it may become one of those apps that never leaves your phone. The ad-supported version is free if you don't like the thought of paying $5.99 for such a basic concept.
