Tobacco Road

Tobacco Road, Miami's oldest bar shuttered its doors in the fall of 2014 after 102 years in business. Kush Hospitality Group's Matt Kuscher and Patrick Gleber, one of Tobacco Road's original owners, have taken over the space for the tribute bar. The new site is at Brickell's old River Oyster Bar, which is just a few doors down from the previous Tobacco Road location.

The reopened Tobacco Road in the former River Oyster Bar space retains the laid-back vibe that formerly pervaded Miami's only historic watering place. Tobacco Road's new location includes a small stage and live performance area in the dining room, as well as a wall adorned with vintage gig posters dating back to the 1980s and old Miami memorabilia. The menu is full of old classics like the Death Burger with jalapenos, jack cheese, sriracha, and spicy mayo. A huge number of beers are available, which are divided into three categories: draft, craft, and shitty.
