Travnik
Travnik is a pre-15th century town and municipality located in the Lava valley. It is well-known among tourists for its well-preserved Ottoman period monuments, including multiple mosques, traditional homes, and Sahat Kula, the only town with two clock towers.
Mt. Vlasic, which is located near Travnik and is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's highest peaks, has become a significant tourist destination, ideal for sports like as hiking, sledding, and skiing. Travnik is close to Bosnia and Herzegovina's geographic center. The city is bisected by the Lava River, which runs from west to east before entering Bosnia and Herzegovina. Travnik is situated in the Lava river valley, which connects the Bosnian and Vrbas river valleys in the east and west, respectively.
The first is represented by a strange collection of classic eastern-style monoliths and structures, two Ottoman clock towers (one of only two in the country), and a charming 15th-century old town center. The second feature may be seen on the horizon's slopes of Vlasic Mountain, which is today one of Bosnia's most popular skiing, Nordic walking, and hiking attractions.
