Trelawny
Trelawny is a parish in Cornwall County, Jamaica's northwest. Falmouth is the county's capital. The parishes of Saint Ann and Saint James are to the east, Saint Elizabeth and Manchester are to the west, and Saint Elizabeth and Manchester are to the south. Trelawny has a history of producing Olympic sprinters.
Trelawny Parish, on Jamaica's northern coast, is home to magnificent resorts, quaint cottages, and a plethora of stunning beaches. Consider getting a day pass to Bamboo Beach Club or Silver Sands Beach if you like a beach with plenty of facilities. Burwood Beach's gorgeous white sand, however, is a no-frills alternative to Trelawny's elegant resort beaches. When you're ready for a change of pace, take a 30-foot-long bamboo raft along the picturesque Martha Brae River or swim in the Luminous Lagoon at Glistening Waters.
