Université Queensland
Université Queensland was founded in 1996 as a non-profit private higher education institution in the urban setting of Port-au-Prince (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), West Department. Delmas is home to a branch campus of this university. Université Queensland (UQ) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 500-999 students) coeducational Haitian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Nondenominational religion. It is officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle, Haiti (Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training of Haiti).
In a variety of fields of study, Université Queensland (UQ) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, and master degrees. This Haitian higher-education school, which is 24 years old, has a selective admission procedure based on entrance exams. This Haitian higher education school is somewhat selective, with acceptance rates ranging from 70 to 80 percent. Applicants from all over the world are welcome to apply. Students have access to a library, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning possibilities, as well as administrative services at UQ.
