Université Quisqueya (Quisqueya University) was founded in 1988 and is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of Port-au-Prince (population range of 500,000-1,000,000), West Department.

Université Quisqueya (uniQ) is a coeducational Haitian higher education institution that is officially recognized by Haiti's Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle (Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training) and among the most Famous Universities in Haiti. In a variety of fields of study, Université Quisqueya (uniQ) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees.

This 32-year-old Haitian higher-education institution has a strict admissions criteria based on entrance exams and previous academic records and ratings. Applicants from all over the world are welcome to apply. Students have access to a library, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, and administrative services, among other academic and non-academic facilities and services.
