You may learn in a cutting-edge setting at the University of Spa & Cosmetology Arts (USCA), which has top-notch faculty members and fully furnished classrooms. The learning environment is professional, and upon graduation, the students are equipped to meet the highest standards in their field.

More than 2,250 students have graduated from the school over the years. A portion of these students are employed in Springfield and other Midwest cities. Some are employed in locations as distant as Canada and New Zealand.

Every program includes three components: Theory (study and discussion in the classroom), Practical (using your knowledge by practicing your skills), and Clinic (using your skills while working on clients in a salon-like environment to aid in your learning). Students enrolled in USCA programs are ready to sit for the state licensing exam needed to work in their field of choice.

University of Spa & Cosmetology Arts offers study programs:

  • Cosmetology: Learn about the newest trends in hair cutting and styling, skincare, makeup, nail care, hair color, perming, and ethnic hair design. You can also learn about business management and clientele development.

USCA's programs are available to GED holders, high school graduates, and homeschoolers who have completed their secondary education as required by state law. They can also grant a secondary school completion credential.

A third-party service provider must translate all foreign high school diplomas and confirm that they meet the academic requirements for a US high school diploma. These prerequisites must also be fulfilled by transfer students.
