Univerzitet Singidunum (Singidunum University) was established in 2005 as a non-profit private higher education institution in the Belgrade city (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Novi Sad, Valjevo, and Ni are all localities where this university maintains a branch campus. Univerzitet Singidunum (US) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Serbian higher education institution that is officially recognized by the Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke I tehnolokog razvoja Republike Srbije (Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia). In a variety of fields of study, Univerzitet Singidunum (US) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees.

This Serbian higher education school, which is 15 years old, has a selective admission procedure based on entrance exams and students' previous academic records and ratings. With an admittance rate of 80-90 percent, this Serbian higher education institution is one of the least selective in the country.
