Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu (University of Arts in Belgrade) was founded in 1957 as a non-profit public higher-education institution in Belgrade's city (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu (UAB) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational Serbian higher education institution that is officially recognized by the Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke I tehnolokog razvoja Republike Srbije (Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia). In a variety of fields of study, the Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu (UAB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees.
