Univerzitet u Sarajevu (University of Sarajevo), one of the best universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban environment of Sarajevo Canton's midsize city of Sarajevo (population range of 250,000-499,999).

Univerzitet u Sarajevu (UNSA) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational Bosnian and Herzegovina higher education institution that is officially recognized by the Ministarstvo za obrazovanje, nauku I mlade Kantona Sarajevo (Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton).

UNSA offers courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees in a variety of fields.

This 71-year-old Bosnian and Herzegovina university has a stringent admission procedure based on entrance exams. Students from other countries are welcome to apply.
