UPM-Kymmene Oyj is a Finnish forest industry enterprise. In 1996, Kymmene Corporation merged with Repola Oy and its subsidiary United Paper Mills Ltd to establish UPM-Kymmene. UPM's six business units—UPM Biorefining, UPM Energy, UPM Raflatac, UPM Specialty Papers, UPM Communication Papers, and UPM Plywood—deliver sustainable and innovative solutions for a future without fossil fuels. UPM is dedicated to the UN Business Ambition for 1.5°C and the science-based targets to reduce climate change as the industry leader in responsibility.


The Group employs around 17,000 people and operates manufacturing operations in 12 countries. UPM stock is traded on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki platform.
