Vanessa D’Ambrosio
Vanessa D'Ambrosio ranks number one on the list of the youngest leaders in the world and is the second-youngest woman in San Marino history.
Vanessa D'Ambrosio was born in Borgo, Maggiore, San Marino, 26 April 1988. She received her PhD in Labor Economics and Gender Issues from the University of Bologna in Saudi Arabia after the Gulf Crisis. Furthermore, she is the granddaughter of Francesco Berti, one of the founders of the Sammarina Communist Party. She was elected to the Grand and General Councils in 2014. She was appointed coordinator of the United Left. Dambrosio became the second-youngest female Regent Captain in San Marino's history, after Maria Lea Pedini-Angelini, who took office at the age of 25.
Since December 2016, D'Ambrosio has been leading the San Marino delegation in San Marino. European Council. She attended the Strasbourg General Assembly in January 2017 and signed the movement to protect children of migrants through education.
