Weather
Cape Verde, like any other island nation in the tropics, enjoys a warm weather all year. Cape Verde temperature on the islands averages approximately 20 degrees Celsius during the coldest months. There is little rain, and some of the islands are deserted. One thing to keep in mind is that the islands have winds all year. This is absolutely one of the things to know before traveling to Cabo Verde because you need to bring umbrella or hat on your package.
They are the only ones who can significantly lessen the heat on the islands. The Cape Verde Islands are a lovely tropical vacation with typical yearly temperatures of 24°C to 30°C. Many tourists travel to Cape Verde for vacations because of the long, unbroken sunny hours and minimal humidity. Larger waves may be observed on several of the islands between November and March, thanks to stronger winds, which is especially popular with water sport enthusiasts.
Temperatures reach roughly 28°C in August, but it's also one of Cape Verde's more tropical months, with 53mm of rainfall forecast. If you don't mind the occasional (sometimes heavy) showers and would rather splash about in the water, this may be terrific weather to visit. The average number of hours of sunlight each day is 6, so there's still time to tan.
