Windermere School
Windermere School is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of England's Lake District. The rugged grandeur of the region not only provides a stimulating educational backdrop, but also allows students to make use of what is available by participating in watersports, hill walking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This results in a very distinctive and always-bustling extracurricular program.
Elleray, Browhead, and Hodge Howe are the three campuses that make up the School. On the banks of Lake Windermere, Hodge Howe is our own RYA (Royal Yachting Association) licensed Water Sports Centre and boathouse. The Royal Yachting Association named the School a British Youth Sailing Recognised Club in 2018 for its race training, making it the first school in the UK to do so.
Windermere School got the highest scores in the ISI's most recent inspection report for the quality of education delivered; it was rated 'Excellent' in both academic and other accomplishments, as well as personal development.
