Wittamer is Brussels' last family-owned Belgian chocolate shop. In 1910, Henri Wittamer launched his first establishment, the 'Modern Bakery.' That shop is still open and servicing customers in the same location.

Wittamer became well-known around the world after receiving the title of 'Certified Royal Warrant Holder in Belgium' in 1999.
