WorldTrips Atlas International
The WorldTrips Atlas International is a single-trip travel medical plan offered to citizens of the United States and other countries who are traveling abroad but not inside the United States. This plan can help you fill in any coverage gaps left by your regular health insurance, which might not fully cover you when you are traveling abroad. By choosing the medical limit and deductible amount that best suit your need, you may customize your plan.
This plan also includes luggage protection as a travel protection feature. If your bag is lost while in transit, it covers replacement costs for clothing and items. American citizens can purchase Incidental Home Country Coverage for up to 15 days every three months of coverage. This benefit can be required if you make an unplanned travel back to the US and get sick while there.
This plan also offers protection in the case of a natural disaster. In the event that you are relocated from prearranged, paid accommodations because of an evacuation for a predicted disaster or as a result of a disaster occurring, the natural disaster benefit may be able to assist with the cost of new accommodations.
