Zéralda

The town of Zéralda is a small town located not far from Algiers' capital. Pure sand, a smooth shallow approach, and the absence of high waves at Zéralda, thanks to stone bridges that cover the beach from the seaside. The beach is ideal for vacationing families.

However, towards the beginning of winter, it is fairly windy and strong waves rise, hence the beach is popular with surfers. Water activities include water skiing and sailing. The beach has an umbrella and a sun deck where you may get out of the sun and rest your eyes.

Zéralda is also full of beautiful places. The cable car will take you to the summit of the hill, where you will find the Cathedral of the African Mother of God. It is a stunning Catholic temple with beautiful mosaics and stained glass windows. The Museum of Fine Arts also has a lovely collection of impressionists.
