  1. Chambar is a terrific location to meet up with friends, have a few appetizers, drink a few too many beers, and conclude with a heaping plate of delicious mussels. The Suffering Bastard is a Glenlivet and gin-based drink that was formerly offered to British troops stationed in Egypt, and there's a huge range of Belgian beer here, as well as drinks that highlight the menu's Moroccan inspirations. Cognac, port, Curacao, fruit juices, and rosewater blend in the El Morocco Deux.

Braised lamb shanks with figs, honey, and cinnamon served in a classic North African tagine, for example, are a homage to Morocco. But it's the moules frites that steal the show: mussels and fries, a famous Belgian combination. The bivalves are cooked in one of three base sauces: plump and soft, never stringy or rough; their favorite is the Coquotte, a rich mixture of white wine, cream, and smoked bacon lardons.

  2. Business partners Frankie Harrington, Shaun Layton, and Chef Justin Witcher have established a gorgeous cafe with great food, focusing on Spanish tapas and drawing influence from tapas bars in Barcelona and Madrid. The décor is colorful, and this diner was made to seem like it belongs in Spain by renowned local designer Craig Stanghetta.

Through the glass windows between the shop and the chocolate lab, you can even see the team roast, winnow, grind, conche, and temper. Customers are encouraged to add a "suspended" coffee or hot chocolate to their purchases for a community member to enjoy later, and they provide the most cheaply priced and tasty coffee in town. To take home, be sure to load up on salted chocolate chunk cookies and roasted beans.

  4. By default, Jimi Hendrix Shrine will be on your itinerary; nevertheless, visitors recommend that you stop by this bar. Do not postpone your visit — the Spanish food is eagerly awaiting your arrival. You will be served delectable meat pies, burgers, and sandwiches, all of which you should try. At The Magnet, people may enjoy excellent pudding. Order one of the tasty craft beers, wines, or draft beers on tap. This establishment is well-known for its excellent service and pleasant employees, who are always willing to assist you. You will be pleased with the reasonable rates. The atmosphere is wonderful, as most people agree.

This is a huge deal for devoted beer fans. The Magnet is a next-level beer parlour for everyone else, with a bright, cheerful attitude, a varied beverage variety, and superb pub fare that even non-beer drinkers will enjoy. The location is off the traditional craft-beer path, yet near enough to Gastown and convenient for individuals who work downtown.

The long, narrow room — filled with plants, splashed with color, and thoughtfully equipped with sound-absorbing baffling – seems light and airy while being built on the strong architectural bones of a brick heritage-esque structure. At the very least, near the counter-service bar, for which the proprietors apologise excessively.

Come here for a fantastic Americano, espresso, or white coffee. Because of its convenient position, this place is easy to locate. The staff is seen as welcoming by the majority of guests. This restaurant's service is nothing short of spectacular. The prices are said to be reasonable. Au Comptoir's magnificent decor and pleasant ambiance will appeal to you.

Take a journey to a fantastic Parisian café in Vancouver's oceanfront Kitsilano area, where up-and-coming chef Dan McGee and his staff are churning up French classics using the best of British Columbia's ingredients. The gorgeous custom-built bar is from France, and the serving crew is primarily French, with the added bonus of Canadian courtesy. Any time is a good time for Au Comptoir, with buttery croissants in the morning, gooey croque-monsieur at lunch, and juicy entrecôte-frites with a delectable crisp char at supper.
