  1. This smart and functional gas range is an upgraded version of the discontinued LG LSG4511ST model. Like its predecessors, this 30-inch LG family has an airy ProBake convection oven, but with additional features like Air Fry, Air Sous Vide, and an InstaView window that lets you watch what's cooking inside without double-tapping the door open.

LSGL6337F Smart Slide-In Gas Range features an easy-to-use (and visible) handle and a digital display on a tilted panel. I also like LG's Smart Diagnostics feature, which sends data directly through your phone to the LG customer information center for stress-free troubleshooting.

The combines these features with a sub-$2,000 price tag for a well-rounded hob, smart connectivity, powerful 18,500 BTU burner, automatic cleaning options, and a great range of gas for almost any kitchen. (We are currently testing this range in our lab and will update the results.)

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 6.3 cu. ft oven capacity

    • 5 sealed gas burners 5,000-18,500 BTUs, plus LG ProBake Convection and a storage drawer

    • Self-clean and EasyClean functions

  2. Admittedly, NX58R6631ST Freestanding Gas Range is not a budget-friendly item on the list, but this Samsung Gas product is the best value for money. Anti-fingerprint Tuscan stainless steel captivates you, and when you turn on the backlight control knob, the blue backlight illuminates, leaving you no doubt that you turned the stove off.

The oven is thermostatically adjustable in convection mode and impresses with its special features such as slow cook, spin, bake and delay start. Although the burners browned the food evenly and the baked goods came out beautifully, the brazier on this stove did not impress us.

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 5.8 cu. ft. oven capacity

    • 5 sealed burners 5,000-18,000 BTUs with continuous grate, plus true convection and a storage drawer

    • Self-cleaning feature

    Cons:

    • Broiler did not brown steaks as dark as other broilers

  3. Whirlpool freestanding gas stoves are featured with five enclosed burners generating 5,000 to 15,000 BTUs under a solid cast iron grid. It shows the best performance in the boiling test. This means you can leave the sauce warning on the range and continue cooking without worrying about burning the rest of your meal. The burners also does a great job of dissipating the heat evenly, but with a single burner up to 15,000 BTU you can stick to the stove and wait for the water to boil.

You'll feel comfortable with the easy-to-navigate oven controls when prepping for baking over the holidays. One of the daunting features is the brazier. Access can be difficult as the brazier is in the stove bottom drawer. There is also no convection mode in this oven.

  4. Air Fryers have attained a significant fame and are presumably a part of the kitchen. you can take back part of that space with this Frigidaire air frying gas stove, one of the first models to feature this feature. According to numerous tests, the oven also boasts fast warm-up, delayed start and frying.

The Air Fryer is a bit messy and smokes, but the chicken wings are crispy and delicious. While the series' easy-to-read control panel and knobs make it easy to guess the dish, the hob and oven only performed moderately in our tests. It's still a solid choice, especially if you're an air fryer fanatic.

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 5.6 cu. ft. oven capacity

    • Five sealed burners 5000-18,000 BTUs, plus true convection and a storage drawer

    • Self-cleaning feature

    Cons:

    • Air frying function was smokey

  5. When KitchenAid 30-inch slide was tested, it provided comfortable and familiar senses, as if the device had been on standby for a long time in the lab. Controls and functions are familiar and intuitive, easy to use and easy to read. With burners ranging from 5,000 to 19,000 BTUs, this range has it all, from simmering sauce for hours to boiling water in minutes.

If most ovens have a storage drawer, this drawer is specifically designed for baking. Pull-out compartments are designed to keep food hot, slow cook or grill. In addition to convection baking and self-cleaning, the oven also features a steam function for moist results. Many people have found that the oven produces mostly uniform baked goods thanks to the very uniform heat distribution. When fried, the toast is also perfectly even browned.

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 6.5 cu. ft. oven capacity

    • 5 sealed burners 5,000-19,000 BTUs, plus true convection and a baking drawer

    • Self-cleaning feature

    Cons:

    • In the tests, boiling water took 10 minutes longer than the quickest range

  6. As this 48-inch dual fuel yellow Italian two-oven masterpiece arrived at the lab, everyone stopped and looked at it. Not only does it look good, but also performs well in testing. The sub-oven is a bit small for a regular meal, but it's great for warming and reheating cookware.

With a wide power range of 1200 to 20,000 BTU, it was a pleasure to cook with 5 burners. The oven was also excellent, thanks to 10 cooking modes (including grill and pizza). Baking tests have shown that the heat is evenly distributed, and the dual oven interior lighting makes it easy to see what's in the oven without risking opening the door or losing oven temperature. After all dishes are cooked, the product has a smooth surface, making it easy to clean. One caveat: the oven depth was a bit tight to accommodate our favorite cookie sheets.

    Pros:

    • 48 inches, 4.5 cu. ft primary oven capacity and 1.45 cu. ft. secondary oven capacity

    • Five gas burners 1,200-20,000 BTUs, plus true convection and a storage drawer

    • Vapor clean feature

    Cons:

    • Secondary oven can not fit half sheet tray

  7. Beyond its ultra-slim design, this Miele Prostyle series also features oversized handles and large door handles for easy grip, giving it a professional feel. This is just one of the few frying models we rated, competing with street grills when grilling steaks.

All burners are extremely powerful from 12,500 to 19,500 BTU, allowing you to quickly boil multiple pots at the same time. It also features a dishwasher-safe cast-iron cooking grill, dual convection pans for fast baking and advanced self-cleaning cycles. This model continues to stand up to the competition from oven to hob. Best part? It is identified by the "Good Family Life" seal.

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 4.6 cu. ft. oven capacity

    • 4 burners 12,500-19,500 BTUs, plus twin convection fans

    • Self-cleaning feature

  8. This Samsung's smart dual-fuel product line comprises the best of both worlds in many ways. In addition to having a gas hob and electric oven to bake more evenly, NY63T8751SS Flex Duo Slide-in Dual Fuel Gas Range with Air Fry itself is split in two, mimicking a double oven. You can cook with one large hole (6.3 cubic feet) or two smaller holes (2.7 cubic feet. and 3.4 cubic meters. ft) with independently controlled temperature.

During the test, we were convinced by the ease of use, the brightly lit command dial and panel. As with other top air fryer models, the frying function works well, but the pan tends to produce more odor and smoke than conventional baked goods.

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 6.5 cu. ft. oven capacity

    • Five sealed burners 5000-16,000 BTUs, plus convection and a storage drawer

    • Steam clean, plus air fry and smart connectivity

    Cons:

    • Air frying function produced a frying smell

  9. GE's smart connectivity is the best feature. The SmartHQ WiFi-based app is compatible with Alexa and Google Home (and a compatible range hood or ChefConnect which can combine a range with a microwave) while allowing remote control, monitoring and diagnostics. This elegant series combines these clever features with a real convection oven and some very powerful burners.

The Profile PGS930YPFS Smart Slide-In Gas Range has not yet officially tested this line in the lab, but has tested (loved) other GE profile lines and user reviews show that this model is a wise investment.

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 5.6 cu. ft. oven capacity

    • Five sealed burners 5000-21,000 BTUs, plus true convection and a storage drawer

    • Self-cleaning feature, plus air fry and smart connectivity

  10. This professional choice can't be beat for cook top performance and if you're looking for a assistant then the series is borne for you. The four open, star-shaped gas burners ensure an even distribution of heat, and the burner boils nicely on low heat. However, if precise temperature control is required, this range is not suitable as the handle does not have an accurate temperature indication. The oven also succeeds in browning baked goods evenly.

The RNB304BV2 is tested, but BlueStar allows you to create your own dream line precisely to your specifications with over 750 color, door, trim and handle options. You can choose from French countertop, frying pan, charcoal broiler and burner configurations. It's really fun if you're serious about cooking.

    Pros:

    • 30 inches, 6.6 cu. ft. oven capacity

    • 4 sealed burners 9,000-30,000 BTUs, plus convection fan

    Cons:

    • No storage drawer

    • No self-cleaning feature
