  1. Squid Game is a Netflix survival drama television series created by Hwang Dong-hyuk. The series revolves around a competition in which 456 players, all of whom are deeply in debt, risk their lives to play a series of lethal children's games for the chance to win a 45.6 billion prize. The series' title is based on a Korean children's game of the same name. Hwang came up with the idea after reflecting on his own early economic struggles, as well as South Korea's class disparity and capitalism. Though he wrote it in 2009, he was unable to find a production company to fund it until Netflix expressed interest in it around 2019 as part of their drive to expand their foreign programming offerings.

Squid Game was released to critical acclaim and international attention worldwide. It is Netflix's most-watched series, having become the most-viewed program in 94 countries, attracting more than 142 million member households, and amassing 1.65 billion viewing hours in its first four weeks of release, surpassing Bridgerton for the title of the most-watched show. The series has also received numerous honors, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries, or Television Film for O Yeong-su's performance, as well as four nominations at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards, including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. A second season is in the works.

  5. Crash Landing on You is about a successful South Korean businesswoman and chaebol heiress who is carried off in a severe storm while paragliding in Seoul, South Korea, and crash-lands in the North Korean portion of the DMZ, where she encounters a Korean People's Army army captain who decides to help her hide. Despite the differences and disagreements between their countries, they eventually fall in love.

Because of South Korea's connection with North Korea (where the majority of the plot takes place) and to minimize any unintended infractions, the production process was "painstakingly meticulous." As of February 17, 2020, Crash Landing on You had surpassed Mr. Sunshine as the most-viewed drama clip by 200 million views, with 1.75 billion online views. The success of the drama aided in the promotion of brand items due to product placement.

  7. A movie that makes you "twist your brain", suspense every minute and can't take your eyes off the screen because it's filled with top-notch tricks, is the Chief of Staff of the great couple Lee Jung Jae - Shin Min Ah.

Chief of Staff exploits the topic of politics, but this is absolutely not a mediocre political movie with contests lasting a few episodes or tricks cleverly interwoven into other content routes for richness. Chief of Staff is a purely political fighting work with a lot of plot twists and a series of plot twists. Not only exploiting the surface, but the film also delves into the details of the long and harsh wits between politicians with tricks that can be as small as a threatening photo or as complex as a national scandal network.
