    Orange Is the New Black, like Weeds, is about a woman on the wrong side of the law. Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) is an upper-middle-class woman who is sentenced to prison for a decade-old narcotics charge she got while smuggling a suitcase for an old girlfriend. Chapman's life is turned upside down in the series, as she meets a new cast of characters in prison. The series has won numerous awards, though it should be noted that the early seasons were far more well-received than the later seasons.
