The show is set in an alternate world where humans and anthropomorphic animals coexist, with the majority of the event that happens in Hollywood. You'll feel sorry for BoJack and the rest of the ensemble as they struggle with despair, substance addiction, and self-destructive behavior in this show that mocks self-centered Hollywood stars.
