Dory gives some of Finding Nemo's most memorable quotes while following along with Marlin on the voyage of a lifetime, despite her episodes of short-term memory loss.   3. In Toy Story, Rex is a plastic T-Rex that resides in Andy's room with the other toys. Rex is a gentle and anxious animal that does not believe himself fierce enough while being a portrayal of a terrible dinosaur.   4. In Finding Nemo, Crush is a 150-year-old turtle that helps Marlin and Dory. He's a laid-back and smart animal who opposes Marlin's neurotic views on parenthood. Crush demonstrates to Squirt, his kid, that he trusts in him and is happy with his freedom, rather than continuously afraid for his safety. Crush's relationship with Squirt, is based on mutual respect and stands in stark contrast to Marlin's urge to protect Nemo at any cost.

  5. Carl Fredericksen is the main character in the film Up. He's a sad older guy who lost his wife Ellie, with whom he shared the ambition of going to Paradise Falls. Carl is a particularly unpleasant man at the start of the film, but it is clear that his hard exterior is a mechanism for him to escape his own emotions.


    People can easily empathize with his loss because his marriage story is one of Pixar's most emotional narratives. This, along with his change of heart towards Russell and even Dug the dog, softens the heart of anybody. His animal nature, however, prevents him from pursuing his love because most people shiver at the thought of having a mouse in the kitchen.
