  1. From March 15, 1977, to September 18, 1984, Three's Company was an American sitcom television series that aired on ABC for eight seasons. It's based on Man About the House, a British comedy.

    The story revolves around three unmarried roommates, Janet Wood, Chrissy Snow, and Jack Tripper, who platonically share Apartment 201 in Mr. and Mrs. Roper's Santa Monica apartment building. Jenilee Harrison joined the cast as Cindy Snow (Chrissy's cousin) after Suzanne Somers left, and was eventually replaced by Priscilla Barnes as Terri Alden. Don Knotts joined the cast as the housemates' new landlord Ralph Furley, brother of the new building owner when the Ropers were split off into their own sitcom series. From 1977 until 1983, the series was a top 10 hit, and it has remained popular in syndication and on DVD.
