James P. Sullivan (Monsters, Inc.)

While his closest friend, Mike, may be hesitant to take on the task of caring for the human youngster known as Boo, a child from the human world by mistake, Sully is up for the job. Sully recognizes Boo for who she truly is, despite the monsters' belief that she is deadly.

Sully demonstrates that he is the sort of father figure that everyone would want in their life, and it is because of this that he is held in such high respect by many fans. He may appear to be a terrible monster at first look, but he's actually as soft as his fur. His paternal relationship with his child makes him one of Pixar's most endearing father figures.
